BURN Taskforce Cracking Down on Prescription Drug Abuse

Butler County Sheriff Richard K. Jones reports the conclusion of a month long narcotics investigation into a Hamilton man on probation. The Butler County Sheriff’s Regional Narcotics (BURN) Taskforce received information that Richard D. Mincher of Parkamo Avenue, in Hamilton, was selling Hydromorphone (Dilaudid), Oxycodone pills, and other prescription medication.

During the investigation, agents enlisted the help of Inspector David Gross from the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. It was found that Mincher was flying to Florida each month to obtain the pills to allegedly sell locally.
