A Butler County “Top Ten Most Wanted” Arrested in Hamilton

Butler County Sheriff Richard K. Jones reports that Sheriff’s Deputies arrested, Euvonda May Martinez age 40, this afternoon, at Fort Hamilton Hospital where she was visiting a family member. Martinez was listed on the Sheriff’s Office “Ten Most Wanted” poster. She had previously been arrested and charged with Felony Grand Theft. She was originally charged in Hamilton Municipal Court in January of 2011 and bound over into Common Pleas where she did not show for arraignment and a Capias was issued. Martinez had been “on the run” since then, leading to her eventual placement on the “Top Ten Most Wanted” list.

Sheriff’s Deputies had recently developed information leading them to believe she was visiting a family member at Fort Hamilton Hospital. Deputies did surveillance at the hospital and found her where she was taken in custody without incident. She is currently housed in the Butler County Jail.

The “Most Wanted” poster can be viewed on the Sheriff’s Office website at www.butlersheriff.org. Sheriff Jones considers getting these criminals off the streets a high priority. Anyone with information concerning the whereabouts of any of these wanted persons is asked to contact the Sheriff’s Office at (513) 785-1300 or contact their local law enforcement agency.
