Morio resigned from the school back in May of 2013 after 13 years teaching in the Ross District, as a result of an investigation conducted by the Butler County Sheriff’s Office and Ross Township Police Department. The teacher was investigated for inappropriately touching a 17-year-old student. That investigation also showed he had provided the student with Marijuana. Steven Morio surrendered his teaching license to the State of Ohio in December of 2013.

Steven Morio plead today to the charge of: Contributing to the Unruliness/Delinquency of a Minor, a misdemeanor of the first degree. Mr. Morio was immediately sentenced to 180 days in jail with 150 days suspended.
