Search Warrant Disrupts Prostitution Activity At Massage Parlor

Sheriff Richard K. Jones reports that a long-term investigation discovered that employees of “Asian Spa” in Fairfield Township were giving more than massages to clientele.  Today at approximately 11:30 AM, Butler County B.U.R.N. (Butler County Under Cover Regional Narcotics) Unit with assistance of the Fairfield Township Police Department executed a search warrant at 3991 Hamilton-Middletown Road.  The Sheriff’s Office received reports of possible illegal sexual acts being performed in the parlor.   The business has been open for several months and reports of the illegal activity began almost immediately.  Sergeant Mike Hackney, supervisor of B.U.R.N. said: “We executed search warrants in 2013 at this same address for prostitution, and arrests were made then as well.”

Yunmei Wallis, 42 year old female of Dayton, has been arrested and charged with promoting prostitution, a felony of the 4th degree.  “There was a language barrier that made this case difficult,” Sheriff Jones said.  “Most of the employees spoke Mandarin Chinese which made it tough on under-cover agents to decipher. There will be more employees and possibly some customers facing criminal charges.  This investigation is just getting started.”
