Jones reports that Deputy Michael Baker has been terminated from employment with the Sheriff’s Office.  Deputy Baker was charged and incarcerated in the Butler County Jail on April 20, 2015 for sexual misconduct involving a minor.  Deputy Baker no longer has any type of arrest or police powers.

The Butler County Sheriff’s Office conducted an internal investigation hearing today and the decision was made to terminate his employment.

The criminal case will proceed in the Butler County Area I Court jurisdiction and remains under investigation with the Detectives Division at the Butler County Sheriff’s Office.
