With the intent to assist your agency in identifying potential deficiencies involving criminal background investigations of those person(s) who are responsible for operating as foster parents, as well as, any entity that has been delegated such responsibility, I am requesting the following:

• Any and all policies, procedures, guidelines of the Butler County Children Services Board regarding the process of screening and investigating the backgrounds of foster parents.
• Any and all policies, procedures, guidelines of the Butler County Children Services Board regarding the process of screening and investigating the backgrounds of person(s) and/or entities being delegated the responsibility of investigating foster placements.
• A list of agencies under contract, memorandum of understanding or other agreement to engage in the placement of foster children by the Butler County Children Services Board.
