In
the year 2000, the Butler County Commissioners, The Butler County Sheriff’s
Office and Resolutions; Community Solutions started construction on our new
Direct Supervision, Maximum Security Jail. In August of 2002, we moved our
first inmates into the new, state of the art, modern Jail Facility. Now we have
approximately 149 Correctional Employees and booked over 10,500 inmates in the
year 2004. The average daily population for this Jail alone was 563 inmates.
Along with our Minimum Security Resolutions Jail, the average daily population
for 2004 was 748 inmates, all Direct Supervision.
