The
Butler County Sheriff’s Office Motorcycle Patrol Unit is utilized in all phases
of traffic control, from routine traffic patrol to special traffic details. The
Motorcycle Unit can be used for patrol purposes, congested traffic situations,
funeral escorts, V.I.P. details, shopping center patrol, various sporting
events, Butler County Fair and parades.
The Motorcycles have been proven to be quite an asset when it comes to acce4ssiblity and maneuverability. Motorcycles can not only go places that an average vehicle can not, but they also make quick turn-a-rounds to pursue violators quicker than an average vehicle.
