Recent Copper Thefts From Commercial Property’s

Butler County Sheriff Richard K. Jones alerts all commercial businesses that we have received three recent theft reports of copper wire/tubing from commercial business locations/ new construction sites. The incidents have occurred in Ross Township, St. Clair Township, and Liberty Township. Sheriff Jones would like for residents to be on the lookout for any one trying to sell large amounts of scrap copper wire/tubing and to warn businesses to secure these items.

Anyone with information concerning these thefts can contact Detective Lambert at 513-785-1242.
