Assistant Fire Chief Arrested for Unlawful Sexual Conduct with Minor

Butler County Sheriff Richard K. Jones reports that Matthew P. Johnson, age 46, of Trenton Road, Hamilton, was arrested by Sheriff’s Office Investigators this afternoon, charged with two 3rd-degree felony counts of Unlawful Sexual Conduct with a Minor. Johnson is an Assistant Fire Chief with the St. Clair Township Fire Department.

The charges stem from two separate occurrences with one female victim under the age of 16, alleged to have taken place over the last few months. At this time, Investigators do not believe there are any additional victims. Johnson is currently being held in the Butler County Jail.
