Local business raided by Sheriff Jones’ Narcotics Agents.
Butler County Sheriff Richard K. Jones announces the results of an undercover drug investigation that has spanned several months. During the investigation, agents were able to make purchases of marijuana from co-owner/operator Brian Wallace, age 32, at his business, Mia Bella Pizza. On June 19th, narcotics agents raided Mia Bella Pizza, located at 2528 Pleasant Avenue, in the city of Hamilton. During the raid, Wallace was located at a rear counter, with scales and baggies. Two pounds of marijuana was located below the counter. Wallace also had $1,400.00 cash in his pocket.
A second search warrant was executed at Wallace’s resident, located at 7201 Forfeit Run in Hamilton County. The second search warrant, executed by Hamilton County Regional Narcotics Unit (RENU) and the Butler County Sheriff’s Office, netted an additional 36.5 pounds of marijuana, a marijuana grow operation, and pills.
Wallace is currently being held at the Butler County Sheriff’s Office on charges of Trafficking in Drugs (F-4) and Possession of Drugs (F5). Additional charges will be filed by RENU for the drugs and cultivation, discovered during the search warrant in Hamilton County.
