Sheriff’s Office makes two more arrests in fake document sting
This is the second time in a week that Sheriff Richard Jones is announcing the arrest of two illegal immigrants involved in selling fake documents to his officers.
Arrested yesterday (July 13th) on SR #4 (near Boymel Drive) in Fairfield were:
Raymundo Ramirez-Nava (age 35) from Colerain Ave-Cincinnati, Oh
Charged with Falsification (Misdemeanor 3)
and
Tadeo Torres-Torres (age 39) from 310 Washington St- Hamilton, Oh
Charged with 4 count of Forgery (Misdemeanor 1)
Both men admitted to being in this country illegally from Mexico.
Torres-Torres had in his possession four fictitious United States Social Security Cards that Butler County undercover agents had “ordered up” and Ramirez-Nava originally gave officers a false name and identification card and later admitted his true identity.
Both are currently being held in the Butler County Jail pending court hearings through Fairfield Municipal Court and “ICE” holders placed against them.
Seized during this investigation was a 1998 Pontiac, approximately $1,000 cash and two cell phones.
