Madison Township Pastor resigns after admitting child molestation
Butler County Sheriff Richard K. Jones announces today that Hence Hamblin Jr. was arrested Wednesday afternoon after admitting to Detectives that he had inappropriately touched an underage female. Hamblin had been Pastor of the West Middletown Church of God up until August of 2009. Allegedly, Hamblin stated that he resigned his position as Pastor from the church due to committing this offense.
Hamblin Jr. (age 66) of the 5100 block of Augspurger Avenue was charged with one count of Gross Sexual Imposition (Felony 4) and was booked into the Butler County Jail. He was later released that same day after a $5,000.00 bond was posted. Future court hearings will be held in Hamilton Municipal Court.
