For Immediate Release…. July 27, 2006

SUSPECT ARRESTED FOR SELLING COUNTERFEIT FAIR PASSES

Sheriff Richard K. Jones announces that on July 27, 2006 deputies were alerted of a possible scam at the Butler County Fair. Information was received that a subject was selling “look-a-like” pit passes for the tractor pull. During the investigation the subject was identified as David Gronas 20 years old of the 2800 block of Tolbert Rd. Gronas admitted to selling the fake passes for $5.00 each. The real price of these passes were $12.00.

David Gronas was arrested for Theft and Criminal Trepass and transported to the Butler County Jail.
