New for Immediate Release

BCSO’s Ten Most Wanted List Arrest

Butler County Sheriff Richard K. Jones announces that on August 31, 2006, Curtis Eugene Cash was arrested in Kenton County, Kentucky. Cash was on the Ten Most Wanted List from the Butler County Sheriff’s Office. He was arrested after he struck a police patrol car while riding a motorcycle in Covington, Kentucky. Cash was wanted in Butler County for an Escape charge for failing to report to his Parole Officer. He is on parole for charges of Murder and Tampering with Evidence. Mr. Cash has additional charges pending in Kenton County for various traffic offenses associated with his crash there.

Cash has already signed a waiver of extradition to be sent back to Butler County, Ohio.

This arrest marks the fifth arrest from the Second Edition “Top Ten Most Wanted” by the Butler County Sheriff’s Office, which was released in early July, 2006.
