CITY OF HAMILTON PROSECUTOR CHARGED WITH PUBLIC INDECENCY


Butler County Sheriff Richard K. Jones announces the arrest of Scott Blauvelt age 35 who resides in the city of Hamilton for two counts of Public Indecency which are Misdemeanors of the fourth degree.

Blauvelt who is employed by the City of Hamilton and was acting as the Prosecutor for Hamilton Municipal Court was arrested today on warrants for incidents that occurred on October 4, 2006 and October 5, 2006.

The investigation conducted by the Butler County Sheriff’s Office and the Hamilton Police Department found that Blauvelt was walking around the Government Services Building after business hours without clothing.

Blauvelt was booked and released from the Butler County Jail and is scheduled to be arraigned in Hamilton Municipal Court.
