NEWS FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Madison Township Man arrested for manufacturing a Homemade Explosive Device

Butler County Sheriff Richard K. Jones announces the arrest of Thomas Willis today for illegally manufacturing an explosive device a felony of the second degree.
Thomas Willis age 55 residing at 5439 Hamilton-Trenton Road in Madison Township was arrested after he was found to be in possession of a homemade explosive device. Criminal Investigators and Bomb Technicians of the Butler County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant today at Willis’s residence and were able to recover items used to manufacture the explosive device.
Willis is currently at the Middletown Jail awaiting arraignment.
