Butler County Sheriff’s Office and Local Senior Organizations Announce Ending Triad Program

June 22, 2011

The Butler County Sheriff’s Office will no longer be affiliated with the Butler County Triad Program effective July 31, 2011. Reductions in staff resulting from the continued adverse economic state, as well as a significant reduction in volunteerism, mark the conclusion of the Butler County Sheriff’s Office participation.

The organization has provided services to Butler County seniors citizens at no cost including the “Are you Okay” Telephone Reassurance Program, the 911 Emergency Cell Phone Distribution Program, the Emergency Beacon Program, and other various events throughout the year. Current program participants are being provided information on local senior organizations for resources that may available to them.
