Sheriff’s Office “Most Wanted” Poster Updated
Butler County Sheriff Richard K. Jones announces today’s release of the fourth edition Sheriff’s Office “Ten Most Wanted” poster. Publication of the first “Ten Most Wanted” poster was in February, 2006, and was updated in July, 2006, after five of the individuals featured on that original poster were captured. A total of 15 people, appearing on the three editions of the poster, have since been taken into custody, thanks, in part, to information and tips obtained from the public.
The new poster is comprised of ten males with various charges including Rape, Kidnapping, Aggravated Murder, Felony Drug Charges, Failure to Register as Sexual Predator, and, as usual, two individuals wanted by the Butler County Child Support Enforcement Agency for Felony Non-Support. The new poster can be viewed now on the Sheriff’s Office website at www.butlersheriff.org. Printed posters will be distributed within the next week to 10 days to other local law enforcement agencies, placed in other public buildings, and in the lobby of the Sheriff’s Office, on Hanover Street, in Hamilton.
Sheriff Jones considers getting these criminals off the streets a high priority. Anyone with information concerning the where-a-bouts of any of these wanted persons is asked to contact the Sheriff’s Office at (513) 785-1300, or call 9-1-1, or contact their local law enforcement agency.
