Illegal Alien Who Was Deemed Sex Offender
Returns to Butler County After Being Deported
Arrested By Sheriff’s Office For Failure To Register
Sheriff Seeks Prosecution and Second Deportation
Butler County Sheriff Richard K. Jones announces that the Butler County Sheriff’s Office Sexual Registration Officer along with the Butler County Sheriff’s Office Illegal Immigrant Unit arrested, Jose Valenzuela M/H DOB- 04-24-70, at 1236 Pater Ave. Hamilton, Ohio, for failure to register an address 2950.04 (felony 5).
Mr. Valenzuela has a history with Butler County and was adjudicated a sexual oriented offender in 1998 resulting from a conviction of gross sexual imposition. He is required to annually register his address, for ten years. However in 2004 the U.S. Immigration and Custom Enforcement deported Mr. Valenzuela back to Mexico.
Sheriff’s Deputy’s acted on a tip that Mr. Valenzuela was back in Butler County and after an investigation he was located and arrested. When Mr. Valenzuela was asked why he came back to Butler County after being deported he replied, “They never told me I couldn’t come back”.
Sheriff’s Office officials have been in contact with U.S. Immigration and Custom Enforcement Agency to inform them of Mr. Valenzuela’s arrest.
