Fatal Motor Vehicle Accident, Milford Township

Butler County Sheriff Richard K. Jones reports that Deputies and members of the Milford Township Fire Department and Oxford Township Life Squad responded to the 5100 block of State Route 177 (Hamilton-Richmond Road) in Milford Township at approximately 0716 hours in reference to an auto accident. The single occupant/driver of a 2004 Pontiac Sunbird was traveling northbound on State Route 177 when the crash occurred. Upon the arrival of emergency personnel the driver was found unresponsive. U.C. Air Care personnel and EMS provided treatment at the scene but were unsuccessful in reviving him. The driver was identified as Robert Martin age 85 of the 200 block of Oakhill Drive, Oxford, Ohio.

This incident remains under investigation by Butler County Sheriff’s Office. Any information regarding the incident should be directed to the Traffic Investigations Division.
