Two arrested for robbery of elderly Darrtown man
Butler County Sheriff Richard K. Jones announces today that two suspects have been arrested after they robbed an elderly man Tuesday afternoon in Milford Township. Raleigh Hensley (86 yrs old) from the 3900 block of Darrtown Road reported Tuesday afternoon that he had been robbed by unknown male subject(s) while he was retrieving the mail by his driveway. Hensley reported being shoved against the suspect(s) car and thrown around and then having his wallet taken from him. The suspects then fled the area and were unable to be located at that time. The victim suffered minor injuries at the scene that did not require medical attention.
Detectives from the Sheriff’s Office began investigating and were able to later locate and then arrest two individuals in connection with this incident.
Arrested yesterday’s date were:
Timothy Alfred (44 yrs) of Millville Avenue (Hamilton, Oh)
Charged with Robbery 2911.02 O.R.C. (Felony 2)
Mark Collins (45 yrs) of Sunset Drive (Hamilton, Oh)
Charged with Complicity to Robbery 2923.02 O.R.C. (Felony 2)
Both men were booked into the Butler County jail and charged through the Area One Court and are currently being held on $30,000.00 bond each pending future court hearings.
