October 15, 2008

Fatality from motorcycle crash, Reily Twp., Butler County

Butler County Sheriff Richard K. Jones reports that Deputies and members of the Reily Township Fire Department and Life Squad responded to the 7800 block of Peoria Reily Road in Reily Twp. at approximately 2116 hrs. in reference to a crash involving a motorcycle. An unidentified white male was traveling on Peoria Reily Road, lost control striking a utility pole. Reily Twp. EMS personnel attempted to revive the unidentified male, however, after transporting the male to McCollough Hyde Hospital in the City of Oxford, he was pronounced dead.

This incident remains under investigation by the Butler County Sheriff’s Office. Any information regarding the incident should be directed to the Traffic Investigations Division.
