News For Immediate Release – February 26, 2009

Driver and Passenger Air Cared to U.C. in Morgan Township Crash


Butler County Sheriff Richard Jones reports that on February 25, 2009 at approximately 2217 hours. Butler County Deputies along with Morgan Township Fire and EMS responded to the 7600 block of Okeana Drewsburg Road in reference to an injury crash. Preliminary, the investigation revealed Michelle Evans (17) was west bound on Okeana Drewsburg when her 1990 Nissan Maxima bearing Indian registration, 413AGD, veered off the left side of the road and struck a tree. Michelle and her passenger Lee Ann Curtis (18), both from Indiana, were Air Cared to the University of Cincinnati Hospital.
Michelle was admitted for non-life threating injuries. Lee Ann is in critical condition currently under going surgery at this time.

The crash is currently under investigation by the Butler County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Unit.
