For Immediate Release… Date: 02/19/2009


Butler County Sheriff Richard K. Jones announces today that there has been a change in the media contact procedures for the Sheriff’s Office. Starting today all media contacts received from Monday thru Friday during the 7 am to 3 pm business hours can be directed to Public Information Officer Sgt. Melina Smith at #(513) 785-1234. Any media related issues during all other times may be directed through the Butler County Communications (Dispatch) center at (513) 785-1300 for the “on-call Supervisor” to address. Thank you in advance for your cooperation in this matter.
