“S.O.F.A.S.T. strikes again getting 2 for 1”
Butler County Sheriff Richard K. Jones announced today that early this morning the S.O.F.A.S.T (Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team) team made a Felony-1 arrest and got two arrests for the efforts of one. This is the fourth arrest in less that a week for the Team and the Sheriff is stating that he is “proud of the dedication and diligence that is being put forth by this team” and he is glad we (his Sheriff’s office) are a part of it.
Jason F. Yancy (age 27) was apprehended at around 7 a.m. this morning at his 6767 Lester Avenue home in the city of Hamilton. Reynolds was being sought due to a pending Direct Indictment issued against him for Rape by the Butler County Common Pleas Grand Jury. The case against him originated out of the city of Middletown. When members of the SOFAST team arrived to apprehend him they also found his (Yancys’) father, Jeffrey A. Reynolds (age 48) at the home and arrested Reynolds for having two pending Failure to Appear warrants out of Butler County Domestic Relations Court regarding child support cases.
Both men are currently being held in the Butler County Jail with NO bond pending future court appearances.
