Two-car Crash in Hanover Township results in Fatality


Butler County Sheriff Richard K. Jones reports that deputies and Ross Township Fire and EMS responded to Reily Millville Road west of Cochran Road in Hanover Township in reference to an injury crash. Preliminary investigation indicates the driver of a vehicle traveling westbound on Reily Millville Road failed to control the vehicle, traveled left of center sideways in the roadway, and was struck on the passenger side by a vehicle traveling eastbound. The driver of the westbound vehicle passed away at the scene as a result of injuries. Both vehicles were occupied by the driver only. Identities and vehicle information are being withheld at this time pending notification of the victim’s family. The crash remains under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office Traffic Unit.
