New Miami man arrested for exposing himself to juveniles….
Butler County Sheriff Richard Jones announced today that a New Miami man was located by his deputies after reports of a male exposing himself to juveniles in the area. Deputy W. Brown located Arnold L. Helms (age 28) riding a bicycle at around 6:30 pm on Friday, June 12th at Helvey and Whittaker Street in the village of New Miami. Helms’ zipper was unzipped and his privates exposed. Deputy Brown had been searching the area due to prior victims reporting seeing him in the area again. The victims reported he had exposed himself to them two weeks prior and then fled on a bicycle. Another juvenile victim had reported being exposed to last week by a male subject who was riding a bike on Fox Avenue in New Miami. Helms was identified by the victims as the suspect who exposed himself to them. He was arrested and booked into the Butler County Jail.
Helms has four prior convictions of Public Indecency (Misdemeanor 4) from August of 2008 in Hamilton County, Ohio.
Helms is being charged with three counts of (Felony 5) Public Indecency and currently being held on a $10,000.00 bond.
