Search Warrant Results in Arrest of Drug Suspect Who is Currently out on Bond for an Indictment for Trafficking in Drugs

Butler County Sheriff Richard K. Jones reports that a search warrant was executed in the City of Hamilton, yesterday, resulting in the arrest of Geoffrey Jester, and the confiscation of drugs, cash, a gun, a police scanner, and two sets of scales. Undercover Agents from the Butler County Sheriff’s Undercover Regional Narcotics Taskforce (BURN) executed a search warrant at 606 South 4th Street, at approximately 10:30 P.M., on 10-15-09. During the search warrant, BURN agents located approximately 2 ounces of crack cocaine, $2423.00, a loaded handgun, a police scanner, and scales.

Jester is currently out on bond for an indictment for Trafficking in Drugs, Felony 5, stemming from an earlier arrest by another agency.

Jester was booked into the Butler County Correctional Complex. He faces up to 11 years in prison and $20,000.00 in fines.

Arrested: Geoffrey Jester, age 27
