FATAL CRASH IN LIBERTY TOWNSHIP BUTLER COUNTY, OHIO


Butler County Sheriff Richard K. Jones reports a Lakota school district bus struck a pedestrian in the 4800 Block of Long Dr. in Liberty Township Butler County, Ohio. Preliminary investigation indicates that the school bus struck a 15-year old female at approximately 0620 hrs. The pedestrian was in the roadway at the time of the accident and was pronounced dead at the scene by the Butler County Coroner’s office. The incident remains under investigation by the Butler County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Investigation Unit.
