Victims from SR128 Fatal Crash Identified

Butler County Sheriff Richard K. Jones reports the families of the victims involved in the fatal crash this morning on State Route 128 near milepost 6 have been notified. Jeremy Stevison age 19 of Ross Township was traveling Southbound on SR128 in a 2001 Mercury Sable and was attempting to pass a semi when he struck a Northbound semi tractor trailer driven by Duane Weaver age 60 of Carlisle, Ohio. Jeremy Stevison was pronounced dead at the scene by the Butler County Coroner’s office. Mr. Weaver was transported to Fort Hamilton Hospital by Ross Township Life Squad for minor injuries. The incident remains under investigation by the Butler County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Investigation Unit.
