FATAL CRASH IN MADISON TOWNSHIP, BUTLER COUNTY, OHIO

Butler County Sheriff Richard K. Jones reports the Butler County Sheriff’s Office and Madison Township Fire and Life responded to a single-vehicle crash on Trenton-Franklin Road West of State Route 4 at approximately 0238 hours this morning. The vehicle was traveling Eastbound on Trenton-Franklin Road when the driver failed to control the vehicle, traveled through a guard rail, struck a utility pole support cable, and traveled over a small embankment causing the vehicle to roll. The driver of the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene by the Butler County Coroner’s office. The identity of the driver is not being released at this time pending the notification of their family. This incident remains under investigation by the Butler County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Investigation Unit.
