Trenton Man Arrested for Public Indecency

Butler County Sheriff Richard K. Jones reports Sheriff’s Investigators arrested a Trenton man last evening, December 15, on Public Indecency charges through Area 2 Court. On December 13, the Sheriff’s Office took a report from a Brook Hill Court resident in Liberty Township stating that while two females, ages 16 & 17, were at their mailbox, they saw a white male in a red pickup truck get out of his vehicle and drop his pants. The suspect then got back into his vehicle and left the area.

Shortly thereafter, Fairfield Township Police received a report of a similar nature with a suspect not wearing any pants happening to a victim on Haverford Drive in their jurisdiction, with the suspect also driving a red pickup truck. With cooperation form Fairfield Township Police, Sheriff’s Investigators began working the two cases. Yesterday, they were able to charge the suspect.

Dana Harris, age 45, of Whispering Pines, Trenton, has been charged with three (3) counts of Public Indecency. He was taken to the Butler County Jail and processed. He posted a $3,000 bond and has since been released, pending an upcoming court appearance.

Please Note: Investigators do not believe this suspect is connected in any way to the two recent reports of attempted abduction that occurred in Liberty Township.
