Milford Township Crash Results in Fatality

Butler County Sheriff Richard K. Jones reports that on 03/17/06 at approximately 2359 hours Deputies were dispatched along with Milford Township Fire and Seven Mile EMS to the area of 2200 Trenton-Oxford Road (SR 73) reference a single vehicle injury accident.
Preliminary investigation indicates that the 2000 Pontiac was proceeding eastbound on SR 73 when it traveled off the left side of the roadway into the ditch. Vehicle struck several small trees and a large drainage pipe causing it to overturn, coming to rest on its top.
One occupant of the vehicle Ryan Lambertson age 28, of Hamilton, was transported to Ft. Hamilton E.R. for serious facial injuries. (He was then subsequently transported to University Hospital). The other occupant of the vehicle was located after the vehicle was turned upright and pulled from the ditch line. Fred “Russ” Bush age 48, of Hamilton was pronounced dead at the scene by the Butler County Coroner’s Office.
This section of roadway was closed for approximately four (4) hours for investigation and clean-up purposes. This accident remains under investigation by the Butler County Sheriff’s Office Accident Investigation Unit and the Butler County Coroner’s Office.
