Sheriff’s Billboards Being Set Up Beginning This Afternoon

Butler County Sheriff Richard K. Jones announces the first of several billboards giving warnings to employers of illegal immigrants is being put in place this afternoon along I-75 in Butler County. Trying to make sure employers are aware of possible charges for the criminal act of hiring illegal immigrants, Sheriff Jones has recently advertised this issue in local newspapers. Several billboards will now also be used in various parts of the county furthering that message. The first billboard being placed today is along southbound I-75, just to the north of, and near the approach to, the State Route 129 interchange. Although the process will take several hours, it is expected to be completed by around 5 pm today.
