Drug Raid in Middletown Nets in Excess of 70 Grams of Crack Cocaine


Butler County Sheriff Richard K. Jones reports that undercover Agents from the Sheriff’s Office Drug and Vice Investigations Unit conducted a drug raid in Middletown last evening, with assistance from the Middletown Police Department’s Special Operations Unit. Around 8:30 pm, Agents and Officers raided a residence at 908 Eighth Avenue, Middletown, where the cocaine and various other items of drug paraphernalia were found, resulting in charges against the following five individuals, all from Middletown:

• Frank Antonio Beverly, age 31, 908 8th Avenue, charged with “Trafficking in Drugs” (F-1) and “Possession of Drugs” (F-1);

• Helen Wingeier. Age 28, 908 8th Avenue, charged with “Complicity to Trafficking in Drugs” (F-1) and “Possession of Drugs” (F-4);

• Robin K. Trivett, age 37, 1327 Forrest Avenue, charged with “Possession of Drug Paraphernalia” (M-4);

• Ashley R. Beasley, age 20, 908 8th Avenue charged with Outstanding Warrants from Montgomery County; and

• Leary Johnson, age 22, 811 14th Avenue, cited into court for “Possession of Drugs” (MM)
