Jones reports that on May 10, 2015, at approximately 1:15pm, BCSO deputies along with New Miami Fire Department, St. Clair Township Fire and EMS, Fairfield Township Fire Department, and Hamilton Fire Department were dispatched to US-127 (Riverside Drive) just north of Augspurger Road in the Village of New Miami for a two vehicle head on collision involving two minivans.

Former Teacher Indicted For Several Sex Charges Involving A Minor

Butler County Sheriff Richard K. Jones reports that after a four-month long investigation, Justin Madden, 29 year old male and former teacher at New Miami High School has been indicted on 11 charges.  Two of those charges are sexual battery a felony of the 3rd degree involving a minor.  The victim is also a former student of New Miami High School but has since transferred.

In September of last year, Mr. Madden was placed on administrative leave from his employment at the high school when allegations were made.  The juvenile’s identity will not be disclosed due to age.  Sgt. Ed Tanner said “we had to cover every angle, teachers are around a lot of students and we had to make sure there weren’t any more victims.”

Sheriff Richard K. Jones is happy to report that Lori Ann Warner, the 44 year old female from New Miami is alive and well.  Ms. Warner has been missing since November 10th with no contact until today.  A family member contacted the Sheriff’s Office and provided information that led detectives to her location in the City of Hamilton.  Detectives responded and verified that she was there at an address on Grand Boulevard. The family members are pleased to be reunited with their loved one.

Sheriff Asking For Help Finding Critical Missing Woman

Sheriff Richard K. Jones is asking for assistance from the community in locating a 44 year old New Miami woman.  Lori Ann Warner has not been seen or heard from since Sunday, November 2nd.  She left her residence on Algonquin in the early afternoon with her cell phone wearing a pair of blue jeans and an unknown type of shirt.
