BUTLER COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE LOOKING FOR BAGPIPE & DRUM CORP MEMBERS

The Butler County Sheriff’s Office Pipe and Drum Corps was formed in 1997 by a group of volunteers with a strong desire and a lot of dedication to learning the Highland Bagpipes and Scottish Drumming.  Today, the band has grown to fifteen members and continues the tradition of performing throughout Butler County and the State of Ohio.

The majority of their performances are memorials for fallen officers, community leaders and veterans.

The Sheriff's Office is currently looking to expand our volunteer Pipe and Drum Corps by seeking additional members, experienced or willing to learn the Highland Bagpipes and Scottish Drumming.

If you have an interest in learning the pipes or drums, we offer free beginner lessons on a weekly basis.

Those interested in acquiring additional information on this matter may contact the Pipe Major at 513-200-3657 for an application.
