Heroin Investigation Leads to Multiple Arrest’s and Seizures

Butler County Sheriff Richard K. Jones announces that a month long multistate Heroin investigation by the Butler County Sheriff’s Office BURN Taskforce has culminated with the arrest of multiple subjects. Last night, the last of three separate search warrants was executed at 1204 Sipple Ave., Hamilton. Other search warrants were served within the last few weeks at 1219 Sipple Ave. and 903 Gordon Smith Blvd. Apt. #1. As a result of the investigation Agents have seized 147 grams of Heroin with an estimated street value of approx. $30,000.00. A 1996 Jeep Cherokee, a 2006 Ford Focus, a 1997 Winnebago, a 2002 Dodge Durango, a 2001 Honda Motorcycle, and more than $3,000 cash were also seized.

Arrested:

  • Raymond Marshall, age 41, 1219 Sipple;
    F-1 Poss/F-1 Traff
  • Wayne “Gofer” North, age 60, 903 Gordon-Smith;
    F-Poss & F-2 Trafficking

Two other suspects have been identified, and charges are pending.

Sheriff Jones is quite pleased with the results of this investigation. “It seems that Heroin is becoming the poison of choice for a lot of folks in our county, replacing oxycontin. Hats off to these agents for realizing this, and aggressively pursuing these local distributors,” said the Sheriff.
