No Charges At This Time On Madison Twp. Vicious Dog Attack
Butler County Sheriff Richard K. Jones reports that the vicious dog that attacked a Madison Township woman and caused her death will likely be euthanized. The daughter of the victim, Julie Whisman signed ownership of the dog over to the Animal Friends Humane Society earlier today.
A DNA sample of the dog has been obtained and sent to a lab to identify the breed of the dog. Family members referred to the dog as a “Pitt Bull” but DNA results will determine if that is the case.
