Agents Execute Three Drug Related Search Warrants

Butler County Sheriff Richard K. Jones announces that agents from the Butler County Undercover Regional Narcotics Taskforce (BURN), with the assistance of the Butler County Regional SWAT Team, executed three search warrants during the early morning hours of Friday August 22, 2014.

At approximately 5:00 am, three search warrants were executed simultaneously at different addresses. One was executed at 321 Washington Street, the second search warrant was executed at 692 Gordon Smith Blvd. Apartment #4, and the third search warrant was executed at the same apartment complex in Apartment #8. All residences are in the City of Hamilton, Butler County Ohio.

The searches netted a large amount of drug paraphernalia, a 9mm semi-automatic hand gun, $5,000.00 in cash, 250 capsules loaded with heroin and 4 vehicles seized including a BMW. Several subjects were taken into custody and transported to the Butler County Sheriff’s Office for questioning. All three incidents are still under investigation at this time and will be presented to the Butler County Grand Jury.
