Drive Sober Or Get Pulled Over
Butler County Sheriff Richard K. Jones announces participation in the Drive Sober Or Get Pulled Over high-visibility campaign. The mobilization portion of the campaign will begin August 16th and run through the Labor Day weekend until September 2nd. The campaign focuses on safety, education, enforcement of laws, and saving lives. During this mobilization campaign, the Sheriff’s Office will be using extra patrols to ensure safety for those on the roadways.
The Labor Day weekend is one of the busiest travel times of the year. Sheriff Jones stated “I would like to remind everyone to drive safely, wear their seatbelts, and as always use a Designated Driver or a transportation service or app whenever intoxicated.”
