BURN Taskforce Gets Another Heroin-related Felony Arrest

Butler County Sheriff Richard K. Jones reports that BURN (Butler County Undercover Regional Narcotics) Taskforce Agents arrested one subject last night, found in possession of 2 ounces of heroin and .25 ounces of crack cocaine. A month-long investigation culminated after Sheriff’s deputies, assisted by Fairfield Police Department and their K-9 Unit, stopped a vehicle on State Route 4, just south of Symmes Road in Fairfield, around 11:30 last night. As the driver was being interviewed outside his vehicle, he suddenly bolted from custody, leading Deputies and Officers in a brief foot pursuit. He was captured several hundred yards from the scene of the traffic stop and arrested.
