Fatal Crash in Wayne Township

Butler County Sheriff Richard K. Jones reports that a fatal, single-vehicle traffic crash occurred on Thursday afternoon, May 1st, in Wayne Township.

Deputies along with the Wayne Township Fire Department responded to the 4500 block of Wayne Trace Road for a report of a single vehicle crash. Upon arrival, deputies found that a 2002 Chevrolet Trail Blazer was traveling south on Wayne Trace Road when the vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway striking a utility pole. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
