Fire in Wayne Township Results in Charges Against Juvenile

Butler County Sheriff Richard K. Jones reports that deputies and Wayne Township Fire Department responded to the 5100 block of Waynes Trace Road shortly after 7 pm last evening on a report of a structure fire. There were six occupants (five adult and one juvenile) in the house at the time of the fire.

Sketches of Model Home Robbery Suspects Released

Butler County Sheriff Richard K. Jones reports that Sheriff’s investigators have now released the composite sketches of two suspects from a robbery that took place at a model home in Liberty Township last week. On October 17, 2013, around 1:30 pm, a female working at a model home at 6795 Corkwood Knoll, in Liberty Township, was physically attacked, thrown to the ground, and sprayed in the face with a chemical agent by two suspects who stole jewelry from her person. Three Injured in Liberty Township

Deputies from the Butler County Sheriff’s Office responded to 5070 Rockdale Road around 5:30 this morning for what appears to be a domestic assault. It appears that a knife was used at some point in the assault and all three family members were injured.

Dog Owner Located and Charged

On Friday, September 27th, a Butler County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Dog Warden was dispatched to Navaho Street, in the city of Middletown, to investigate an abandoned canine. Upon arrival, the Deputy Dog Warden located the dog emaciated and in obvious distress.
