Butler County Serious Traffic Accident Reconstruction Team Responds

Butler County Serious Traffic Accident Reconstruction Team (S.T.A.R.T.) Respond to Fatality in Madison Township 

Sheriff Richard K. Jones reports on February 06, 2025 at 1912 hours the Butler County Serious Traffic Accident Reconstruction Team (S.T.A.R.T.) along with the Madison Township Life Squad responded to the 68oo block of Cloister Cliffs Drive in Madison Township for a pedestrian strike involving serious injuries. 

Upon arrival, the initial investigation determined, an eleven-year-old child had been struck by an SUV while in his driveway. 

The Madison Township Life Squad performed CPR to attempt lifesaving measures. According to the Montgomery County Coroner’s Office, the victim, a Madison Elementary School student, had succumbed to his injuries. 

“Can’t really think of a more tragic accident than this one. My thoughts and prayers to the family and first responders to the scene,” states Sheriff Jones.
