BUTLER COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE EMERGENCY OPERATION CENTER(EOC) AND EMERGENCY RESPONSE SERVICES TEAM (ERS) ON STAND-BY STATUS 


Sheriff Richard K. Jones reports on February 15, 2025 at 2100 hours the Butler County Sheriff’s Office Meteorologists are currently monitoring the weather conditions with a flash flood warning in effect in the Butler County region. 


The Butler County Sheriff’s Office Emergency Operation Center (EOC) is working collaboratively with the Sheriff’s Office Emergency Response Services Team (ERS) on a stand-by status for any weather event that may arise from the current rainfall. 

“There are always potential dangers with torrential rain to cause high water on roadways. The Sheriff’s Office Emergency Response Services Team (ERS) specializes in swift water and flood response. We are ready,” states Sheriff Jones.
