Butler County Undercover Regional Narcotics Task Force (BURN) Seize Drugs

 Sheriff Richard K. Jones reports On January 29, 2025 at 0800 hrs. the Butler County Undercover Regional Narcotics Task Force (B.U.R.N.) executed a search warrant at 6021 Boymel Drive apartment I in the city of Fairfield. 

The search warrant resulted in the confiscation of approximately twenty-five (25) grams of fentanyl, thirty (30) grams of cocaine and thirty (30) pressed fentanyl pills. Additionally, approximately thirty-two-hundred ($3,200.00) dollars in cash and an AR-15 pistol were recovered. 

Thirty-three-year-old Craig Douglas of Fairfield was arrested and charged with Possession of Fentanyl (F1) Trafficking Fentanyl (F1) Trafficking Cocaine (F1) and Possession of Cocaine (F1). 

Furthermore, BURN Agents determined Douglas had been manufacturing crack cocaine as well. 

This is an on-going investigation with additional charges pending. 

“Getting drugs off the street is a never-ending battle that we will continually fight to keep this garbage away from our kids and loved ones,” states Sheriff Jones.
