Edgewood Freshman charged with inducing panic

Sheriff Richard K. Jones reports the Butler County Sheriff’s Office investigation division charged a student from Edgewood school, age 15, of Trenton, Ohio, with Inducing Panic Felony 2nd degree, Aggravating Menacing Misdemeanor 1st degree. The Freshman sent an email to all students and staff threatening students that attend Edgewood High school. Another student email account had been manipulated to hide the Freshman identity. The Freshman was taken into custody and booked into the Butler County Juvenile detention center on the listed charges.

Sheriff Jones states “If you plan to threaten any person in our community, you will be held accountable”.

Respectfully,
