Fatal Crash In Madison Township Under Investigation

Butler County Sheriff Richard K. Jones reports that on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at approximately 11:37 PM, the Butler County Serious Traffic Accident Reconstruction Team (START) responded to a single-vehicle crash at 3390 Radabaugh Road in Madison Township.

Upon arrival, deputies discovered a vehicle had collided with a tree. The engine compartment was on fire and was extinguished. The driver, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, was found entrapped. Madison Township Fire Department personnel extricated the individual from the vehicle.

Tragically, the driver was pronounced deceased at the scene. The identity of the driver will be released by the Butler County Coroner’s Office following positive identification and notification of next of kin.

“These are always tragic scenes to respond to,” said Sheriff Richard K. Jones. “Our thoughts and prayers are with the family during this difficult time.”

The crash remains under investigation.
